At Prince George’s County Crime Solvers, our Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding the mission, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring the success of our programs. More than just a governance board, it’s a dedicated team of passionate individuals who show up, speak out, and actively serve.
What Our Board Members Do
Our Board Members are the backbone of our organization. From setting strategy to staffing a booth at a festival, our board is hands-on and deeply engaged.
Attend 12 meetings annually
Serve on fundraising committees or fulfill key executive-level roles
Make critical decisions, including reward approvals and budget oversight
Represent Crime Solvers at public events and community presentations
Help recruit, train, and mentor new members
Liaise with business partners, schools, and local leaders
Commit to at least a two-year term

Associate Board Members
Looking to contribute with more flexible involvement? Associate Board Members are an essential part of our team.
While Associates don’t attend board meetings, they do receive training and are trusted to represent Crime Solvers at public-facing events. It’s a great way to get involved and make an impact—on your schedule.

Police Coordinator
Our Police Coordinator, while not a Board member, serves as a vital liaison between the Board and the police department. This role provides expert insight to guide our efforts and strengthen community safety.
