Crime Solvers offers cash rewards for anonymous tips that lead to an arrest and indictment in certain cases. You’ll receive a Tip ID# and password through the P3 system —be sure to save these! They’re the only way to:

• Comprueba el estado de tu propina

All rewards are paid in cash (U.S. currency only), and your identity remains protected throughout the process. Anyone who loses the Crime Solvers unique tip ID number will not be eligible to check the status of their tip or claim a reward.

Reward Considerations

In order for a tip to be considered for a reward, it must come from an anonymous tipster and received through one of four methods: 1) Online tip submission; 2) P3 Tips mobile app.; 3) Text Tips…msg data rates apply; 4) Anonymous tip line. Tips must also provide the information that leads law enforcement officials to solve the crime. There are often multiple tips on high-profile crimes, some of which include related information, even though they come from different tipsters. The first tip that is used to solve the crime is the tip that is considered for a reward. The determination of whether or not a tip provides a lead that results in an arrest and charges filed is made by the police jurisdiction making the arrest.

Reward Eligibility

There are some special conditions that will prohibit a tipster from being eligible for a reward.

• Parties to a crime for which a tip is made are not eligible for a reward for solving that crime.
• A qualifying tip has to provide specific information that leads to an arrest.
• Tips that do not specify a crime committed do not qualify for consideration.
• Information of an emergency nature or crime in progress should not go to PGC Crime Solvers.  Call 9-1-1.
• Information determined to be a threat to law enforcement, or the public are not considered tips for the purposes of the reward program.
• If you lose your Crime Solvers unique tip ID number, you will not be able to check the status of your tip or claim any potential reward. It is crucial to remember this number, as it is the only way Crime Solvers can identify you.

Social Media

Tips sent through social media channels will not be considered for a reward. These communication platforms are not anonymous, thus presenting security and privacy concerns.

Reward Disclaimer

Rewards offered represent the maximum amount that may be authorized for useful information provided in a particular case, including tips that assist law enforcement in making arrests and solving a case. Consistent with established guidelines, the Crime Solvers Board of Directors retains sole and complete discretion in determining whether a reward will be approved and, if so, the amount of any payment. Reward amounts may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the severity of the crime, the number of tips received, and the significance, reliability, and usefulness of the information provided. No person is guaranteed a reward, and no individual has an entitlement to receive the maximum award noted in any case.
