What is Prince George's Crime Solvers?

Crime Solvers is a national program that offers cash rewards to people who call the Crime Solvers tip line to provide information to law enforcement about a crime or criminal. Tipsters may remain anonymous and if their tip leads to the arrest and indictment of a suspect, they can receive a cash reward.

Prince George’s County Crime Solvers is not a law enforcement agency.  Prince George's County Crime Solvers is a non-profit organization established in 1979 governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that oversees the program. The board consists of business and community members who volunteer their time and talents to raise reward money, attend community events to promote the program and community partnerships with the police. A police civilian serves as the liaison between the department and the Board of Directors.
