The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating the homicide of Therin Almandeus Martin. On Friday, April 29, 2011 at approximately 3:27 p.m., officers responded to 3206 Branch Avenue, Temple Hills, Maryland for a reported shooting.  Upon arriving at the scene, officers found 39 year-old Therin Almandeus Martin of the 5000 Block of Washington DC. lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds.  He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  Investigators are working to establish a suspect and motive in this case.
